Title:
ZULU TRADITION
Subtitle:
From KwaZulu Natal to the world's stage; rekindling the spark of Zulu
culture and heritage through traditional song and dance.
Text:
ZULU TRADITION is a company of young Zulu singers and dancers from KwaZulu Natal,
in South Africa. They deliver a heady mix of African harmonies and energetic, athletic dance - all
traditionally costumed and supported by drum-rhythms. Zulu Tradition reaches
back into the past to preserve ancient skills while stretching forward
towards contemporary Africa. Their songs are both traditional and recently made in traditional styles.
"Powerful traditional splendour of dance sequences accompanied by
pulsating Zulu drums and glorious vocal harmonies. Guaranteed to hold any
audience spellbound."

Zulu Tradition Tech Spec and Stage Set Up
- 5 vocal microphones on full height stands
- 2 drum microphones on short stands
The 5 vocal microphones to be situated evenly spaced across the stage.
1 drum microphone to each side of the stage.
The performers dance and sing (and dance while singing) so please keep the stage cable-free (as much as possible) behind the microphones because you don’t want them dancing on/or tripping over your cables.
In a suitable room (village hall-sized, seating 100 – 150 approx. or small ats centre/theatre) the artists will perform acoustically. They are naturally loud and can move better without PA to get in the way. |
